About Melafori

Built by gamers, for gamers — right here in Australia.

Melafori Team

Our Story

Passionate Players,
Honest Opinions

Melafori was founded in Sydney in 2019 by a group of friends who were frustrated with game reviews that felt disconnected from the actual player experience. We believed that the best game reviews come from people who genuinely love games — not from corporate checklists.

Today, we're a team of 12 dedicated reviewers and esports journalists spread across Australia — from Sydney to Perth, Brisbane to Melbourne. Every game we review is played to completion. Every tournament we cover is attended in person where possible.

We are proudly independent. We accept no payment for positive reviews and maintain full editorial control over all content published on melafori.site.

What We Stand For

Three principles that guide everything we publish.

🎯
Radical Honesty

We call out bad games. We acknowledge when a beloved franchise disappoints. Our scores reflect genuine quality, not hype or advertising relationships.

🇦🇺
Australian Perspective

We consider Australian server performance, local community size, and regional pricing in every review. Our readers are Australian — our reviews reflect that.

🏆
Community First

We actively support the Australian esports scene by covering grassroots tournaments, highlighting emerging talent, and giving local teams the spotlight they deserve.
